Sundarbans Resources Shrink, Three Boosts

Professor Rashed Al Mahmoud Titumir, the head of the Research Institute for Development, emphasized that by leveraging the symbiotic relationship between nature and humanity, Bangladesh has the potential to rapidly attain the global target of 30 percent forest conservation. Currently, worldwide, only 17 percent of forests are protected, while in Bangladesh, it stands at 12 percent. This approach is not only the most contemporary but also the most sustainable.
